About Rothwell Bells & Bellringers

Holy Trinity Rothwell has a fine ring of 10 bells which are well known for their ease to ring and their wonderful sound. We have an active band of ringers and learners who ensure the bells are rung each Sunday morning  and for other special occasions.

In addition to the ring of 10 bells, we have two additional bells that enable us to ring a lighter peal of 8 when the situation arises.

For teaching and training we have a computerised ringing simulator and dumb bell that are used for basic handling practice. The tower is registered with the Central Council of Church Bell ringers as a Ringing Centre
